Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Romans 3:23 (ESV)
23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

The glory of God in human beings involves a seeking and a manifesting of the righteousness of God.

We are not made to walk in sin and the ensuing guilt, shame, condemnation, and eventual death that sin brings.

Sin consciousness is twisting our emotions, thinking, relationships, and worse of all worshipful obedience to the Lord.

The experience of Righteousness releases the opposite which is confidence, peace, a clean conscience, and life.

How do sinners get restored to an attainment and experience of righteousness?

Romans 1:16-17 ESV
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Romans 3:21-22 (NIV)
21 …righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

Righteousness affects our
  1) Now (Present)
  2) Past
  3) Future

Joshua 3:14-16 (ESV)
14 So when the people set out from their tents to pass over the Jordan with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
15 and as soon as those bearing the ark had come as far as the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the brink of the water (now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest),
16 the waters coming down from above stood and rose up in a heap very far away, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan, and those flowing down toward the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho.

In Christ, the manifest Ark of God, the flow of the, “Adam failed life” is stopped.
And this stopping leads to the freedom to “crossover” into inheritance.
