We of often preach about and talk about Revival. The Church at large does this.  Remind you that Re-Vive means “again alive”  What I mean by Revival can be said in two ways: 1- The Initial Revival is the Church returning to biblical normalcy manifesting the dynamic resurrection life of Jesus everywhere In all nations.  2- This then leads to The Ultimate Revival which is the return of Jesus on planet earth transition is to the next Age of eternal glory and life.   Where we are now: It is my contention that what we are experiencing now is the result of the rapidly expanding prayer and missions movement over the last few decades. The enemy is raging, the Lord is cleansing, and the Bride is hastening the day of the Lord.   Acts 3:11-21  Restoring All Things  apokatastaseōs  The times of the restitution of all things - The noun rendered restitution ἀποκαταστάσεως apokatastaseōs, does not elsewhere occur in the New Testament. The verb from which it is derived occurs eight times. It means properly "to restore a thing to its former situation," as restoring a "strained" or "dislocated" limb to its former soundness.  What is it that the God spoke thorough the Holy Prophets that we are waiting to be fulfilled and is holding Jesus in heaven?  Many things but a large portion of them are found in the book of Revelation.   Book of Revelation has 404 verses. Near 300 of them reference or allude to OT prophets writings.  By some count there are over 1000 OT scriptures referenced or alluded to in Revelation.  Warning: Don’t Cherry pick the Bible! Take in the full counsel of the word not just the parts you like about God or His dealings.   The 6th seal in Revelation 6:12-17 is referenced 15 times in the Old Testament  “The mountains quake before him; the hills melt; the earth heaves before him, the world and all who dwell in it.” ‭‭Nahum‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬  “All the host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll. All their host shall fall, as leaves fall from the vine, like leaves falling from the fig tree.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭34:4‬ ‭ESV‬‬  “The high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. Thorn and thistle shall grow up on their altars, and they shall say to the mountains, “Cover us,” and to the hills, “Fall on us.”” ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬  And positive ones - Revelation 21:1  ““For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65:17‬ ‭ESV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/59/isa.65.17.esv So, I said earlier that I believe that this season, and other challenging ones to come, are the result of prayer and missions.   And illustration of this reality is :  Praying the Lords Prayer, especially the request- let your kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven is partly and dramatically going to be answered by the events of Matthew 24.
