When we grow in the Lord we naturally have an increase of desire to know Him and His will.

Especially if we live in a “highly missional” and “highly prophetic” community.

Wisdom for Walking Patiently in the Glory of Kings
1) Seeking the unknown things of God should not to be a frustrating inconvenience but rather a glory, privilege, and honor.
2) The Lord retains secrets and mysteries revealing them progressively to a seeking heart that we may mature in obedience.

Deuteronomy 29:29 (ESV)
   29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but  the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever,  that we may do all the words of this law.
3) There is a humility produced in the context of “knowing in part” as  well as an increase of desire for the second coming/age to come.

1 Corinthians 13:9-10 (ESV)
   9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 
   10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.”
4) Awareness that we are “prophesying in part” should temper our passion  for people to respond to our words and increase our respect for the  priesthood of the believer.

5) The process of the Lord concealing a matter and our searching it out  highlights the reality that the “relationship” not the “information” is  most important to the Lord.
6) The searching out process helps produce Patience, which is an  important fruit of the Spirit and the first description of love.

7) The glorious kingly searching is a process that involves scripture, prayer, community, and discernment of circumstances.
