ABOUT this message //

Aaron Wallace teaches on conquering the fear of death. While Jesus may not save us from physically dying, he will most certainly save us from staying dead.

Hebrews 2:14-15 (NIV)
14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—
15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

John 11:25-26 (NIV)
25 He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Matthew 16:25 (NIV)
25 For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it

Philippians 3:18-19 (NIV)
18 For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.
19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

1 Corinthians 15:54-55 (NIV)
54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

Jesus may not save us from physically dying, but he will most certainly save us from staying dead.

2 Corinthians 5:1-2 (NIV)
1 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
2 Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling.

2 Corinthians 5:4 (NIV)
4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (NIV)
8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
